We are excited to welcome you to Westwood, MA at the end of September. The Deeper Learning Boston conference has a rich history. Although this is our inaugural year of the conference, the Deeper Learning movement began in the Northeast region and spread domestically and globally from there. Please enjoy this short background on the conference itself, where we honor "On Whose Shoulders We Stand: A Brief History"

Howdy y'all! My name is Rachel and I am currently a computer science major at Binghamton University. I am also a proud HUM IV founding alum! Looking back, some of the most memorable times I've had were in high school bonding with faculty and students, or exploring the different interests I had in astronomy, theater, and of course, computer science. Now, I realize that those days have shaped me into the person I am today. I look forward to sharing some of my reflections and aspirations for the future at DL Boston. As one of the founding “artist-scholars” to lead a Senior Capstone Project from start to finish - during a pandemic - I’m proud to facilitate a Deep Dive on the topic and how it connects to the research i’m doing now at Binghamton.
