Dr. Jackman is a licensed psychologist with 25+ years in the mental health field. She is the founder and CEO of InnoPsych, Inc., an organization on a mission to disrupt racial inequities in mental health.
Prior to starting InnoPsych, Dr. Jackman worked in schools for 17 years and served as Dean of Health & Wellness for a Boston public high school from 2011-2021. She also has 16 years of working with children/youth and families involved with social services and the juvenile justice system. Dr. Jackman gets hired by organizations for keynotes, panels, and consultations on various topics, including creating emotionally safe work cultures, child/adolescent development, racial trauma, burnout, and employee emotional well-being. Dr. Jackman is deeply invested in teaching tools that foster healing and thriving.
She has won several awards for her impactful work including the 2021 American Psychological Association’s (APA) Citizen Psychologist Award and the City of Boston’s 2021 Innovator of The Year award. Dr. Jackman has been featured on national media outlets such as the New York Times, NPR, and the Boston Globe and is a regular contributor to the PBS Teachers Lounge column.
